Matthew Johnson

Obituary

Matthew Johnson was born, March 8, 1941 in Harris County, Texas to the parentage of Lena Bell Johnson and Sam Harris.

He was raised by his grandmother, Maggie Hamilton. He received his education through the Jonesville School System and he joined Old Border Baptist Church at a very young age.

A few of his favorite things to do was playing dominoes, cards, listening to music, dancing and barbequing.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Harris Johnson; a second wife, Shirley Leffall, grandmother, mother and beloved son, Dennis Lee Johnson

He leaves to cherish his memories four sons, Michael (Karen) Johnson and Vincent Leffall, Michael Gaut, Sr., Daryl Gaut, Sr.; one daughter, Monica Leffall; sister, Mary Cherry and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends
