Obituary
On Sunday morning, April 19th, Mark a beloved husband, father, son, and friend transition from his labor to reward at age 51. Mark was met in heaven by his first love, his maternal granny, Katherine Scott, who preceded him in death.
Born September 20, 1968 at Forest Ave Hospital in South Dallas to Mary V. Williams-Scott. Mark grew up in Dallas and attended D.I.S.D. public schools. He was a 1988 graduate from Roosevelt High School.
Mark then enlisted into the United States military in February 1989. During his active duty he served in Operation Desert Storm, deploying to Kuwait for combat. Mark’s bravery in service earned him numerous decorations, medals, badges and campaign ribbons.
Upon returning from his 3 years of service in the United States Marine Corps, he went to work in telecommunication and home security. Working in various positions for 24 years until his health started to fail in 2017. Starting as an installation and/or service tech, working his way to become a team lead and later supervisor. Mark took great proud in his craftmanship and paying attention to detail on his job sites.
Although Mark is no longer here in body, his spirit along with the great times we shared, are forever etched in our memories.
