Obituary

Evelene Johnson lived a wonderful life. She was determined, outspoken, funny with a great sense of humor. She was filled with life and loved it to its fullest. She was a fighter even until the end. If you needed her, she was there. She loved her entire family, and we love her.

She gave her life to Christ many years ago. She was a member of Full Gospel Holiness church, she died a member of NZMBC. She is a Soldier in the army of the Lord.

Evelene was proceeded in death by her parents Sarah and Coy Banks; brothers Troy Lee Banks and Willie Henderson; sister Anthia Banks; husbands Walter L Davis, Charles D. Woods, Jesse Johnson Jr.; and son Jerome Collins Sr.

She leaves to cherish: sister Laverne Knox (Pat); sons Exzavier Davis, Virgo Davis Sr., Cortney Woods Sr.; grandchildren Paris Davis, Bryson Payne, DaVonte Stephenson, Cort’nesia Woods, Cortney Woods Jr, Virgo Davis Jr, Katherine Davis, Travion Davis, Cedric Davis, Jerome Collins Jr, Ty’Rondric Collins, Jayden Collins and Brittany Davis; and 15 great grandchildren. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews to cherish her life.
