Brenda Gail was born February 15, 1954 to the parentage of Sallie Lee Payne and Ellis Edward Prince, Sr. in Dallas Texas. Brenda was the youngest of five children. She was formally educated in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Lincoln High School. Brenda was proceeded in death by her father, Ellis Prince, Sr., mother, Sallie Payne, step-father, Herman Payne, brothers Edward Wright, Ellis Prince, Jr., and Harrison Prince and great nephew, Nicholes Barnes. In 1971, Brenda married Ronald Carroll. To this union two children were born, Chris and Latosha. Brenda was family oriented and always the life of each family gathering. Her beloved pleasure was spending time with her grandchildren and her great granddaughter. She was a spiritual person, she expressed her faith through reading her bible daily and praying for others. Each day, Brenda would open her blinds and let the light of the Holy Spirit into her home. Her jovial attitude was loved by many. Her jovial attitude was loved by so many. She made it impossible to be in her presence without laughing. Brenda leaves to cherish her memory her son, Christopher Carroll (Kay), daughter Latosha Carroll, sister Linda Prince Keesee (Carl), granddaughters Brenshunda Herod and Breanna Carroll (Darrion), great granddaughter Bri’Yelle Carroll-Horton, nephews Byron Roberson (Tanya), Edward Wright, Jr., and Ellis Prince; nieces Lisa McNeary, Niki Prince, and Nautica Montgomery. Important to Brenda was her God family, sister Wanda Williams, daughter Denell Shaw granddaughter, Ashley Shaw and nieces Kemica Duty-Wright and Carolyn Duty-Dunn. Brenda also leaves a host of family and friends to treasure her memory.
