Belinda Joyce Lewis-Elliott, was born March 5, 1960, in Texarkana, Texas, to Janie Lewis. She received her education from the Texarkana Independent School District and was a 1978 graduate of Texas High School. Belinda bore her one and only child, Brandon Lewis on February 24, 1984. She was an employee for Aramark, at St. Michael Hospital, until she retired in 2014.
On Sunday morning, February 23, 2020, Belinda entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family.
Belinda is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jeffery and Sarah Lewis, her brother, Gary Lewis, and a nephew, Victor Lewis.
Belinda leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Brandon Lewis, of Wake Village, Texas, her parents; Janie and James Fort, of Hooks, Texas, and Narlean Lewis, of Texarkana, Texas, and one granddaughter, Braylynn Lewis, of Dallas, Texas. She also leaves to cherish her memories, a God son, Terrell Jackson, of Wake Village, Texas, three sisters; Cassandra Lewis-Cooper (Tracy) of Texarkana, Arkansas, Anita Lewis-Coleman (Roger) of Wake Village, Texas, and Arletha Lewis-Carson, of Texarkana, Texas, one aunt, Aldonia Hill of Nash, Texas, three uncles; Jeffery Lewis, Jr., of Douglassville, Texas, Robert (Juanita) Fort of Hooks, Texas, and Roy V. (Katie) Fort of Dallas, Texas. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
